Everyone wants to work at home these days. If you have to be at home with the kids, why not bring in some extra cash while you are there? On another note, if you are unemployed, or just plain unable to work outside the home, how can you bring in some extra cash?

Task Jobs

These jobs are posted by companies or individuals looking for such things as help with the ease of their new website, checking their forms for complications, writing short articles or blog posts or other short tasks as assigned. Pay is minimal, but sites such as Amazon Mechanical Turk are definitely legit! You can cash out your earnings via check or by an Amazon Gift Card!

Answering Service

Did you know that it's so simple to start your own answering service, that you could actually be in business by tomorrow afternoon? All you have to do is have either a separate phone line or secondary cell phone dedicated as your business line, and you are ready to go. Take business phone calls anytime from your own home or on the go.

Laundry Service

It's amazing how many people hate to do laundry. It's also amazing how many people just don't have the time to fool with it. This is your chance at some serious money for something as simple as throwing wash in the machine and folding it when it comes out of the dryer!

After School Check In Service

Many parents would be thankful to have someone waiting to get their children off the bus in the afternoon. All you have to do is to make sure they get off the bus and home safely. Keep lines of communication open for the parents and children. If the parents are unable to get a hold of the child after school about dinner plans, well, they can call you. It's your job to be the go between until the parents get home in the evening after work.

Pet Sitting

People pay to board their dogs and cats for the day while they are away at work. Why not offer to let them drop them off at your house for the day? You'll be there to make sure the pet stays warm and dry during the day. Dogs can be walked or even groomed as an added service.

    I use to pay to have my laundry done. I paid any where from $8 to $23 each visit plus tip. Great list! A lot of people work a lot don't want to spend there day off doing laundry. Elderly just can't get the clothes to the washer or drier. This would be perfect for a stay at home mom. 5*
