So often the news does not print or relay on the TV what we should all know about the Chilean Miners and what they are thankful for. If you did not know these, now you do so spread the word how thankful we are for our great country. How great America and Canada is!
Layne Christensen Company out of Wichita Kansas and the Geotec Boyles Bros. worked the drills and machinery that located and reached the miners. The holes were then enlarged to rescue the Chilean miners, who are thankful.
Atlas Copco Construction Mining company in Milwaukee, Wisconsin was consulted. They put to use, the drilling equipment from different sources, under varied pressure specifications to help the trapped miners.
United Parcel Service, thankfully known as UPS made the 13 ton of drilling equipment arrive for the work for people to help the trapped miners. The 13 tons of drilling equipment went from Pennsylvania to Chile in less than 48 hours. Thank you UPS!
Zephyr Technologies of Annapolis, Maryland are responsible for the manufacturing of the remote cameras that monitor the vital signs. Miners will wear these during their ascent as they are rescued. Aries Central California Video of Fresno, California is responsible for the designing of intricate cameras. These are lowered 1/2 mile into the ground transmitting video of the trapped miners. Thanks to you all!
Canada based Precision Drilling Corp. and South-African company Murray and Roberts drilled back-up shafts for rescue. These were done in the event the American rig was not successful. American rig did not fail! Thank you all!
There are more companies with intelligent employees that Chilean miners are thankful for too. Teamwork from all caring people has rescued miners making them very thankful for their efforts.
Wonderful list.
Yes, we do not always get the whole story...especially all the good things that happen in such an event. I praise God for each person, mentioned and those who will forever remain nameless, that contributed to this rescue.
Thank you for sharing this with us!
