This list is from observation and personal experience.
This one I think is almost universal. She comes home all dressed up and has a brand new hair style. She's very proud of herself to look good for you, then you do it, you don't say a word and go on with your things. You didn't even notice, come on, Stop being a bonehead, she's looking beautiful for you!
No matter if it is your first date anniversary, first day of being girlfriend and boyfriend anniversary or your wedding anniversary, guys usually mess this one up. And the classic, "Honey I didn't forget, I was looking for the perfect anniversary gift", yeah right!
This happens often with the guy who doesn't pay attention to detail. You take her out on date and you didn't notice that she has a new outfit and a different type of makeup on. She asks you if you like the new look giving you the chance to compliment her and you say, "Yeah", then like a bonehead you realized 30 minutes later what she wanted and then give the compliment. Too late!
She tells you to decide where to eat (she's giving you a chance to be the man and make a decision) for dinner. But you keep asking her what she's in the mood for, then she tells you anything you want is fine. You then confuse this as some ploy to mess with your head and you start an argument. You end upset with each other and not eating making it even worse. She really wanted you to decide, figure it out!
Pride is many guys enemy. You get lost and won't ask for directions (although the gps has helped save some of these problems) you made a wrong turn and won't admit it. Or she's right about a money issue, relationship issue, family issue, animal issue, nutrition issue, political issue or a number of any other issues, you then realize you were wrong but won't admit it. What's wrong with you, women are smart, asking for their advice first will save a lot time and many headaches. Admit when you are wrong!
Just getting better at paying attention and not being overly proud will help any relationship mature to a better status.
Your mama raised you right. She must be proud you know these are bonehead things. Kudos and h5
I'm never guilty on #2 or #3...sometimes guilty on the rest. I'm working on it!
