Valentine's Day gifts for Mommy--with a little help from Dad.
Give your child some drawing paper and a box of crayons. Ask him to draw a picture of himself with Mommy, doing something special. Roll the picture into a scroll and tie a bow around it with pretty red ribbon.
A photo of Mommy and her child can be framed, put on a shirt, inserted into a photo purse or screen-printed onto a throw blanket.
Help your child bake brownies, cookies or a heart shaped cake. If your baking skills aren't up to par, pick up heart shaped sugar cookies from the grocery store. Set your child up with a can of frosting, colored sprinkles and gel icing. Let her decorate these cookies with love for her Mommy.
Purchase a children's bracelet making kit from the craft store. Your child can make Mommy her very own "love bracelet" using a mix of heart shaped and colored beads (Mom's favorite colors, of course).
A Valentine's Day card is a precious keepsake when made by the hands of her child. Help your child cut a piece of construction paper into a large heart shape. Fold in half and have him write a sweet message to Mom on the inside. Supply your child with paint, markers, crayons, stickers and glitter with which to decorate the rest of the card.
Happy Valentine's Day!
Great ideas! I think the bracelet is a really sweet gift.
I love anything that has to do with pictures/photos. Nice list.
