When I first began writing online, I had no care for blogging even though I was advised to have one to promote my articles. The task seemed to be daunting. However, I jumped into blogging a year later in full force after I knew what I want to do with it.
The whole world opens up and at a click of my finger tip. There were so much information on the internet to learn from, and each blog I visit has something different to offer. I learn from new recipe, to becoming a better photographer, to get traffic back to my blog. The learning process is endless.
After three months of blogging, I started to make money writing paid posts, and by placing ads on my blog. Blogging became a greater venue for me to devote my effort and time in than writing articles.
I meet new people every day, and some even become close friends, especially when we find out that we don't live far from each other in real life. I have many great friends from all over the world, and keep in touch regularly.
The best part to blog is to share the simple joy in life, whether it is with just family, close friends, or for the world to see. If money is not a driving force for you, having a blog can be just for fun. You don't need to have a reason or a niche to blog!
Your blog is your playground. If you have a special talent such as cooking, it would be a great place to write down all your recipes, and leave a mark for the next generation to benefit from.
Blogging can be addictive and fun. It also helps generating for new ideas and new things to write about. There are many free platforms to choose from, such as Blogger, TypePad, and WordPress if you want to get started.
