Introduction:

Armageddon is one in a long list of Bruce Willis movies. With a large cast of well-known and funny actors, Armageddon has some truly unforgettable scenes and one-liners. Here are a few of the funny quotes from Armageddon.

"Way Wrong Answer!"

When Harry (Bruce Willis) finds out that A.J. (Ben Affleck) has been seeing his daughter, Grace (Liv Tyler), Harry starts chasing A.J. all over the oil-drilling platform, taking rifle shots at him. A.J. tells Harry that he loves Grace and Harry responds with "Way wrong answer!" and proceeds to take another shot at A.J.

"I Remember This One. It's Where the Coyote..."

When Dan Truman (Billy Bob Thornton), is explaining the trajectory of the shuttles to Harry's team, Rockhound (Steve Buscemi) says, "I remember this one. It's where the coyote sat his a** down in a slingshot and he strapped himself to an ACME rocket. It didn't work out too well for the coyote."

"None of Them Ever Want to Pay Taxes Again. Ever."

When Harry's team gives a list of what they would like in terms of compensation to go on the mission, Harry reads off the list and then says, "And none of them want to pay taxes again. Ever."

"It's a Big A** Sky"

When questioned why the asteroid the size of Texas that's hurtling towards Earth hadn't been noticed by NASA, Dan Truman explains that the budget NASA has to watch the sky for such things only covers about three percent of the sky and begging their pardon, "It's a big a** sky."

"...Built By the Lowest Bidder."

As the team is getting strapped in and the shuttle is about ready to launch, Rockhound turns to Harry and says, "Hey Harry, you know we're sitting on four million pounds of fuel, one nuclear weapon and a thing that has 270 thousand moving parts built by the lowest builder." He certainly doesn't do much to inspire confidence.




Final Thoughts

The quote with honorable mention goes to Rockhound when he flips out on the asteroid and jumps on the nuclear weapon, shouting "No nukes, no nukes!"
