The perfect club sandwich has crispy fried bacon slices, cooked boneless chicken breast, tasty bread or brioche, fresh romaine lettuce, mayonnaise and slices of delicious beefsteak tomato.
Fry or microwave the bacon slices and drain on a paper towel. Cook or grill the chicken breast with rosemary, garlic or other herbs and spices to add flavor to the chicken.
Spread the mayonnaise on three slices of bread or toasted brioche. Place the chicken breast on top of the mayonnaise on one slice of bread. Add a leaf of freshly washed and dried romaine lettuce.
Place another slice of bread on top with the mayonnaise side down. Spread more mayonnaise on this slice and add tomato slices followed by the bacon. Top with the remaining slice of bread (mayonnaise side down).
Cut the sandwich into triangles and place a decorative toothpick in each one. Place these mini sandwiches on a plate and add a pickle or other garnish. Pull up a chair, get a cup of your favorite beverage and enjoy!
