No one is sure why celebrities seem to gravitate to ridiculous children names but they do - maybe it's something in the Hollywood air. Below are some of the top 5 ridiculous celebrity children names, in my humble opinion, of course.
The name of Jason Lee's (My Name Is Earl) son comes in at first place. Does this kid even have a shot at a normal life? Is Jason giving his son two different choices for job descriptions when he ages? While we're at it; isn't "Inspector" spelled with a "C"? WTH?!
Oh, ugh. Bristol? Really? Did the cold get to the Palin's when they came up with this beauty? Speaking of which, when exactly did this train wreck become a spokesperson and a star?! Does getting knocked up when you're a single teen mean you've found a purpose in life?! Something is way wrong with the American public...
Sylvester took one too many hits in those Rocky movies but Sage Moonblood couldn't be a grosser name for a male child. Ok, "Sage" may be alright for someone who shows some intellectual promise but, would this name possibly be appropriate from a child created with Sylvester Stallone's seed?
The daughter of semi-sane Gwnyth Paltrow drew a short straw in the name game (of course, so did Gwnyth...). I'm only sorry that the father's last name was not "Martini" instead of "Martin.'
I think Frank must have been into the wacky weed when he dreamed up this beauty of a name for his daughter. Maybe he passed out face up and woke up to a shining moon? Good thing he wasn't in the middle of an orgy....
I still feel sorry for Apple, Gwyneth Paltrow's daughter. Great list! In the meantime I'm legally changing my name to Celery! Why not??
Most names used to be just regular words too, until they were used more often for names than regular words and we became used to them just being names.
But I agree a lot of names for children now seem really weird. Frank Zappa apparently also has a child named Diva Muffin...I think I'd rather be called Moon Unit. o_O
Wonderful list! Love your choices... When did using "names" go out of style?
