Read these steps, and if you have all of these signs of polyps of the throat, then, consider seeing an ears, nose, and throat specialist, as soon as possible.
Sore throats tend to be a sign that someone may have polyps. Keep an eye on how long your sour throat last. A sore throat that doesn't heal over a normal amount of time, may be a more serious condition. Polyps of the throat requires surgery to remove them.
Constant hoarseness maybe a sign that polyps have grown down from down farther in the throat. I had this condition, and I was told if I ever wanted to talk again I would have to agree to have the polyps removed.
Sinus infections can be serious if left untreated for more than a month. I had a hoarse throat as well for 3 months. I went to a nose, throat, ear specialist, and he old me I had polyps on my throat.
Swallowing, and gagging problems do develop when someone has a cold, or flu; however, when swallowing, and gagging problems worsen, then professional care should be considered.
Constant clearing of the throat could be a sign of a more serious condition. Someone that has sinus trouble may tend to clear their throat more often, as if they aren't feeling well. Constant clearing of the throat may have developed into a more serious health condition.
People that have all of these steps may have developed polyps of the throat. I had all of these signs, that told me that something more serious was happening with my throat. My health care physican advised me to see an ears, noise, and throat doctor. That is when I found out I had polyps of the throat.
