Items Needed:
Plastic clear container with a lid
Hot glue Gun
Glitter/Fake snow
An old Christmas ornament/figurine
Water
You will first need to get a cup of cold water, get 2 tsp of the glitter/fake snow and heat the glue gun up. Once hot glue gun is ready you will need to get the lid and your figurine. Glue the Figurine/ornament into the inside of the lid. While it is drying, get your cold water and your glitter/snow and pour it in leaving about 1 inch of air. Leaving container with water flipped up take the glue gun and glue all of the rim then slowly put the lid on it and screw it wait till the glue dries to flip the your snow globe.
Items Needed:
Clear ball ornaments
Tissue paper Several Different Colors
White/Clear craft glue
Water
Small Paintbrush
Clear acrylic sealer
Ribbon/String
Scissors
Empty Egg Carton
Remove hanger tops and set aside. Place ornaments onto an upside down empty egg carton.
Get you tissue paper and either cut into small 1" square or cut out small shapes.
Mix 2 parts white glue and 1 part water to make solution. Should be paint like and thin.
Paint ornament with decoupage solution. Place tissue paper pieces on top of the solution, then paint more solution over the top of the tissue paper. Repeat all over ornament and let dry.
In a well-ventilated area spray with sealer and let dry.
Reattach hangers tops to the ornaments and tie ribbons/string onto loops.
Items Needed:
12-inch Styrofoam cone
Wrapped candies, such as peppermints
T-pins (from a craft store)
Wired sheer ribbon
Bow the matches ribbon
Start by decorating the styrofoam cone with a row of candies around the base. Poke a floral T-pin through each candy wrapper and push the pin into the cone at a downward angle until the pin is tight against the surface. Continue up the cone, adding rows of candy to cover it completely. Cut two lengths of sheer ribbon. To create spiral-effect, wrap ribbon around pencil. Pin both strands of ribbon to top of tree, one on top of the other. Place bow on top of tree with pens.
Items Needed:
4 5 inch pip cleaner
Pencil
Large bowl/jar
3 cups water boiled
3 tbsp of borax
Blue food coloring
Steps:
1. Twist three 5-inch pieces of pipe cleaner together to form a snowflake
2. Then add a 2 1/2-inch piece to each point
3. Tie the flake with string to a pencil
4. Find a big enough bowl/jar so, the suspended flake won't touch the sides
5. Boil around 3 cups of water depending on size of bowl. You will need to cover all of the snowflake
6. Fill snowflake with water
7. Fill with 3 tablespoons borax
8. 1 drop blue food coloring per 1 cup of boiling water.
9. Hang the snowflake in the jar.
10.Let sit overnight; remove.
Items Need:
Paper
Straws
Scissors
Beads
3 pipe cleaners
Paper
Colored ribbon
Steps:
1. Cut straws into 1/4" and 1/2" segments.
2. Thread beads and straw segments onto one chenille stem, leaving about 3/4" on either side.
3. When complete, twist one end to the end of another stem and continue beading. Repeat with a third stem.
4. Draw a 6" star on a piece of paper and use as a guide to bend the now long chenille stem into a star. Twist the last two ends together and attach ribbon to hang.
