If you are stressed about work, find something to do with your family to take your mind off of it. If you are stressed about things at home pray about it and talk things over with the one who stresses you. Below are just a few suggestion to get you to think! GBU.
So many people get stressed out so quickly. Sitting still and taking those 10 deep breathes work well for some. I also while taking the deep breathes find myself praying especially for others, works well.
Sitting and being still and listening to nature works excellent also Especially when I can go to the water even a small body of water to just sit and watch the ducks and listen to the waves and watch the birds flying around, feeding their young, fish swimming. Some times you can't get to the water just find some place calm and quiet and mentally go some place that brings you calmness.
Going snorkling or scuba diving, being down under is a whole nother world and it's so beautiful and gorgeous and soothing and great exercise too. You will come up with a whole new attitude, whether you are just swimming and working off whateve you are going through or just trying to relax this work wonders and very healthy for you too. There are inside pools at health clubs and other places too.
Reading and Writing
I like reading a lot. My Bible #1 of course. But there are books galore out there and for people like me it works well. The only draw back for reading if you are anything like I am is getting myself to sit the book back down when I need to stop my reading for a while. Humm , it might be the books that I like to read. Some are just too hard to put down. I know you know what I mean if you are a reader. Smiles. Writting down your blessing will make you calm down and realize what is important and worth being upset about and then again you may find yourself not sweating the small stuff.
Art and Crafts
For us ladies crotching, knitting, scrap booking, photography,sewing,etc. There are many things to do think outside the box. Men they are in their man caves or garages, offices, working on their cars is their crafts.
There is so many things all men and women can do. Exercise in any form works excellent with some one or alone. Hiking or just walking and talking. Some say watching t.v. or movies but when it's over and done the stress is usally still there. Doing something for some one else usually works whether you are doing that something physical or spiritual or verbal it usually works. Whether stress or anxiety there is always praying and helping others and it always works. God bless and may you always find your peace and be stress free and anxiety free! What ever you do don't go back to work if you have already left it for that day! That makes for a bad habit and you train yourself to become a workaholic that leads to a whole nother situation.
