This is a continuation of ways to save money while grocery shopping!
Many of the larger cities have warehouse stores such as Sam's that offer pretty good deals on buying in bulk. This is great for large families, as you usually buy groceries in bulk and can take advantage of this price break without letting food/supplies go to waste.
Another way to save money is to shop at a store that does price matching. This means that the store will match the sale price of an identical item in their store when purchased. Walmart is one store that does this. You should bring the sales paper along with you to have to point out to the cashier to take advantage of comparison shopping.
Often sales items sell out fast, especially when they are very good deals. Go to the customer service desk and ask for a Rain Check for the sale items that are out of stock.
I mentioned earlier in Part 1, to use manufacturer coupons when grocery shopping. Some stores offer double coupon days where they double the face value of manufacturer coupons. This is not only fun, but adds up to greater savings! Find out which day of the week your local stores double coupons!
Always pay close attention to the scanner as you are checking out. This is the time to make sure the prices ring up correctly, especially those items that are on sale. Watching the scanner allows you to catch the mistake, point it out to the cashier and have the price corrected.
great list...off to search for the first two parts :)
