Vermont Teddy Bear Company

The Vermont Teddy Bear Company made their name with theme bears sent directly to the gift recipient from the company. The bears were dressed for holidays or for the events. One of the most popular bears is the bear that comes with best wishes for a speedy recovery. The bear's boo boo is wrapped according to the gift givers instructions. Someone with a broken arm, for instance, can receive a get well card and a bear with a bandage on the very arm under doctor's care. Bears may be ordered by telephone or from the online website. Vermont's bears also have a choice of clothing and accessories.

Build-A-Bear

Build-A-Bear Workshops are located in many urban centers where shoppers can select a bear and watch the animal's insides put together on the spot with the stuffing machine. The Gund bears are outfitted for various holidays and come in a variety of colors and furs.

Stuffington Bear Factory

The Stuffington Bear Factory in Phoenix, Arizona makes a colleciton of stuffed bears available both in specialty stores and from online shops. If you happen to visit Phoenix, take the factory tour and pick up your bear in person. The company offers bears in all prices ranges, including hand-made bears for under $10.

Chelsea Teddy Bear Company

Chelsea, Michigan is home to the Chelsea Teddy Bear Company. The Chelsea bears may be purchased online from the website store or bought after a trip through the manufacturing plant. Order your bear with his or her name imprinted on a bear-sized t-shirt. Check the company website for times and dates. If you love bears, the plant also features a teddy bear and toy museum with samples of vintage bears and historic toys.
