There were things I had always wished i had done in my youth. It took me half a lifetime to finally do them but it made my life complete. I write about in my blog http://alonglifepath.com
I had never gone to college after graduating High School. Actually I was a college drop-out after two years. I always wished I had finished college, so at age 63 I enrolled and managed to graduate with honors three years later. I made my family proud. Better late than never.
I married too young according to today's late date weddings, I had three children. My husband died 16 years later to raise them by myself
I met my second husband 4 years later. it was a good marriage until our 16th Wedding Anniversary. He died the same month but 16 years later. Remarkable but true. I chose never to marr again. I had other things I wanted to do.
I made my wishes come true. I taught myself to abstract paint, created Ceramic figurines and sold some, resumed playing piano, took lessons and entered piano competitions with my Baby Grand and won an award or two. College degree came next.
