I went back to school recently to learn photography and am having so much fun figuring stuff out.

I had Lyme disease twice and spent three years getting over it enough to get on with my life.

I love hiking to new spots and exploring them. (My love of nature probably explains how I ended up with Lyme twice.) Right now, I'm trying to hike through every nature preserve/state park in Maryland. Fun times!

I have three kids, one cat, one dog, one puppy and five chickens. The kids have mounted a campaign, so I assume I will soon have some bunnies, too. *Update - No bunnies. I missed having a chinchilla. Miss Daisy the Champagne Chin has joined the crew.
