My family comes first. Four daughters, one son and one son-in-law, and four beautiful grandchildren. Not to mention all the animals.

My favorite hobbies include writing, reading, gardening and cooking. I love writing short stories. I am fascinated with how things grow and thrive even under the most adverse conditions. People should be more like plants.

My favorite musicians are Rod Stewart, Bob Seger, David Arkenstone and Meatloaf. I listen to all genres, just some are played more frequently than others.

My bucket list includes jumping out of a perfectly good airplane, going to Scotland, swimming in the ocean again, going to Yellowstone, and visiting the Grand Canyon. But maybe I should put the airplane last, just in case.

I love learning new things and exploring the vast world around me. I know so much but have only skimmed the surface of knowledge available.
