These are suggestion I hope all my readers use if they have someone who is going to counseling. My daughter is going to counseling, and this is what I'm doing to help our family. GGood mental health is important for recovery. Depression can be helped through counseling.
Start out by saying a prayer for them, and then with them. Show them this act of unconditional love. Love is a gift, and needs to be taken care of delicately. Staring out the day and ending it with a prayer is how better days, and nights begin, and end.
Someone who has started going to counseling is in for several bumpy roads before their road starts feeling less bumpy. Go with them, and you'll see more harmony within themselves, and the home.
Talk more about your feelings. Let everyone have a chance to talk. Everyone in the household has been torn by feeling of despair due to specific problem. Every individual needs to talk, and feel that they have been.
Talking is great, now, is the time to listen. Listening sometimes is hard, due to the fact of much held in emotions. Learn to listen as well as talk and one day true peace will reside once again, in more than your living room. Peace will fill everywhere you all embrace.
Never give up on someone going to counseling. Unconditional love is what true healing is all about. Feel their pain, and one day they'll understand yours. With love on both sides of you how can you both lose?
Love is everlasting! Take care of each other; you may only have one chance to make it right.
