An adrenalin rush is when the hormones peak to a point that create euphoria or utter fright. The slight or continual lack of control for the moments or the time the activity takes, is either quick or lingering for the person. An adrenalin rush can be done more than once with similar feelings even though a person expects the events. There are numerous adrenalin activities, so you just might associate yours with the ones mentioned here.
It is not just the actual jump from the plane that gives the adrenalin rush for anyone sky diving. The free fall is a thirill in a class all its own. As a person journeys in the aircraft, one sometimes sky dives for a building of self esteem. Many thoughts can enter the thought process until the actual jump and descent. This sporting activity is one that a person can and generally does more than once for the adrenalin rush it provides. Lessons must be learned before falling since landing is a skill mixed into this event as well.
White Water Rafting
Getting ready to go on a white water rafting trip brings many thoughts to different people. One thought might be the swells the raft will take while others like the thrill of the peaks before the descent into the swells. As the raft goes swiftly along the white water, one knows the rocks beneath are creating the color on the top making the adrenalin rush too. There is an absolute lack of control when the water guides the raft even though the participants row with oars. The whole ride is packed with adrenalin making ingredients.
What goes up must come down is a good label for this sporting activity. As a person climbs high enough to reach the bungee cord, the adrenalin builds. This is one of the sporting activities that you get a rerun time and time again as your bungee cord lifts and releases you more than once. Your adrenalin is still rushing when your entire activity of bungee jumping is complete.
Meeting the Important Person
There is a very special adrenalin rush when the most important person in your life is before your very eyes. Nothing feels quite like it all over the body and in the mind. The adrenalin can be stationary over a long time or only when you are around that great person. That wonderful feeling is un-settling yet welcomed at the same time.
It might be off road, back woods trek or a fast ride on an open trail that creates the adrenalin rush. The rush can be remembered long after the ride has finished and is often sought more than once because of that memory. Just the euphoric feeling of being in some control does not take away from the surge of those feelings when riding. The uncertainity can lie around the next turn or over the up and coming climb up the hill so surprises still make the adrenalin rush a strong one.
I actually was about to enroll in a sky diving class before I was 30 years old. After 35, I was too chicken to try again but I still think I should have. I'm sort of a daredevil. Thanks for the nice list.
