Jelly Belly was first made in 1976. They were first made in Los Angeles, California. This is where the Original Gourmet Jelly Bean was made.

President Ronald Reagan was our 40th president. He was also the oldest elected president. President Reagan was our president from 1981-1989.

President Reagan loved Jelly Bellies. He had them in the White House. There wasn't a day that he didn't have them in the White House. President Reagan also had them on the plane. There was a special holder designed for the plane so that the jelly bellies wouldn't fly out all over the plane. President Reagan sent Jelly Bellies out in outer space in 1983.

Blueberry Jelly Belly was created for President Reagan in 1981. President Reagan wanted to serve red, white, and blue at his inaugural parties.

A portrait of President Reagan was made out of 10,000 Jelly Belly beans and was hung in the library of President Reagan in California.

Jelly Belly beans were very important to President Reagan.

Jelly Belly beans were made with the intention of having all natural ingredients and having the jelly belly beans taste just like a real flavor. Jelly Belly has two factories that are located in California and Wisconsin. They are open for tours which includes a train ride and even some sampling. My folks loved jelly bellies; they'd buy 4 lbs at a time at Costco. My favs are the buttered popcorn.
