This past weekend, the Queen Elizabeth II of England celebrated her Diamond Jubilee, a 60 year reign as Monarch. It is only the second time that a Diamond Jubilee has been celebrated by a Monarch.
She celebrated previous Jubilees before that, for. e.g. in 1977, it was the Silver Jubilee, 25 years.
Her Golden Jubilee was celebrated in 2002, for 50 years as Monarch.
The official website for the Queens' Diamond Jubilee is:

On the weekend, there was a 1000-boat Diamond Jubilee River Pageant.
This past long weekend was for the festivities to mark the Diamond Jubilee.
Hundreds of thousands gathered at Buckingham Palace, while many sang patriotic songs, as the Queen waved from the balcony, along with Prince Charles, Prince of Wales; Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, as well as Prince Andrew, his new wife, Katerine, Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry. A sea of British flags can be seen in the crowds.
