Introduction:Pit bulls. Chihuahuas. Greyhounds. Cairn terriers. For centuries, dogs have been bred for different jobs. That is why there are so many different breeds. Despite the traits bred into a dog, there are specific types of dogs that are more dangerous than others.
An injured dog is one of the most dangerous of all dogs. They knew they are already at a disadvantage and will do whatever it takes to protect themselves and avoid further injury.
Abused dogs are dangerous because they no longer trust humans. They will lash out whoever is near them, thinking they may be abused again. This defense mechanism is necessary for them to protect themselves.
A frightened dog is another type of dog that is dangerous. Confused and scared, a dog will behave in ways that they normally wouldn't in order to protect themselves.
A hungry dog is also a dangerous dog. They will do whatever it takes to feed themselves and protect what food they do have.
An untrained dog is dangerous. Even the most basic of commands such as sit and stay will help a dog not to become dangerous. Dogs that have never been trained not to jump on people or not to bite can accidentally cause a lot of harm.
No matter the breed, size or purpose of the dog, these dogs are the most dangerous. As caregivers to all animals, humans must do all they can to make sure to make sure dogs are never fall into these different types of dogs.
Nice list about dogs! I was afraid your list was going to be the breeds..I feel the breeds having nothing to do with the dog's personality..it is how they are trained.
I love that you gave traits of dangerous dogs instead of naming breeds. Nicely done.
