I have been successfully using coupons to save money on groceries and other necessities for quite some time now, and it is amazing how much money I have been able to save. I will give you a few hints for trimming your grocery budget.
If at all possible, get two of as many coupons as you can. You can use two coupons on Buy One Get One Free specials! I always ask for the Sunday coupons from the paper at the fast food restaurant on Sunday after church.
Do not just clip the coupons that you know you will use. Get a file, and file all coupons alphabetically. When the particular item is on sale or clearance, you can possibly save a lot of money.
Kroger usually has a least one buggy full of clearance things marked extremely below the retail price. If you can use coupons with these prices, you will make like a bandit!
You can use your manufacturers coupons in conjunction with the coupons and bucks issued at CVS. For instance, you may have a coupon from the coupon scanner that entitles you to $5.00 off of $20.00. You can combine that with your manufacturer's coupons, then pay for it with your CVS extra bucks!
When you are visiting stores that do not have double coupons, remember to take coupons from all of the available dispensers, especially ones you can double at another store.
Never go in a store without your coupon file because it is those unexpected sales that allow you to really save money with coupons.
Great list of ways to save money with coupons. Your suggestions really work as I use coupons for grocery shopping all the time.
