Break out the heart shaped cooking utensils to add extra love to each of your kids' Valentine's day meals.
Use heart shaped cookie cutters to cut slices of French Toast. Top with sliced strawberries. Serve with warm strawberry milk poured into a Valentine's Day themed coffee mug.
The cookie cutter strikes again at lunchtime! Cut out cream cheese and raspberry jam sandwiches to create a heart shaped lunch that with a red and white color scheme. Pack in a lunchbox along with a bottle of water to which you have affixed heart stickers to the label. Toss in a shiny red apple and a couple of chocolate kisses.
Prepare marshmallow rice cereal treats according to the traditional recipe. Use cookie cutter to cut into heart shapes. While still warm, pierce a bamboo skewer through each heart, just as Cupid's arrow would pierce a heart. Skewer a chocolate heart on one end to serve as the arrow point and some mini marshmallows on the tail end of the arrow.
Shape pizza dough into a heart. Top with red sauce, mozzarella (or other white cheeses)and red toppings such as pepperoni, sliced tomatoes and red peppers.
Bake a chocolate cake in a heart shaped cake pan. Top with chocolate frosting, pink frosting or white frosting sprinkled with red and pink sugar crystals. Outline the heart cake with chocolate kisses.
