X Men Movie Characters

Introduction:

After finishing a list of the top 5 X-Men: First Class characters, I was reminiscing of the previous X-Films. Now looking back, here are my top 5 characters from the movie-verse, not the comics.

Wolverine

I have to say some people really hated how the first three X-Men films revolved around Wolverine. For me, it worked just fine. While not an exact comic book match, I enjoyed nearly every scene he was in. Bring on The Wolverine!

Magneto

Magneto in the first two films was brilliant. Unfortunately like a lot of characters he lost his touch in the 3rd movie, but still remained an interesting character. Admittedly, Magneto is one of the few villains that I often root for.

Nightcrawler

Though only having an appearance in the second film, his character was extremely entertaining. A little awkward, but complex. You truly understood that he was a tortured soul but one with a pure heart. Also, you can't deny that his action scenes were amazing.

Storm

Storm was the only character to me that really had grown through the three films. In the first movie she was still a little unsure of herself, and the second movie she started to play a bigger role. Finally in the third movie, she reluctantly became a strong leader of the X-Men.

Colossus

Okay. I admit he did not have very many scenes, but technically was in all three films even if the first one was just a cameo, and the second film a slightly longer cameo. Being a favorite of mine from the comics, it was fun to see this character like Rogue, Shadow Cat,and Iceman grow from a student to full fledged X-Men.




Final Thoughts

There are so many characters that had made appearances in the movies it was difficult to narrow it down to only five. What are some of your favorites?
