Introduction:

Over a period of time I have noticed some facts about controversial subjects which I share now with readers.

Articles

When controversial topics are written in an article and published on the Internet many people could be reading them. If a subject is known to be way off the normal thinking,that article will have numerous views because it is such a far out topic that encourages a read from lots of people. Curiosity will build from the title and if the contents is solid, your controversial article will be appreciated by readers.

Timing

Controversary is at times, time sensitive depending on the topic. As controversial issues get resolved think about redoing your article to advance with the times. If nothing else, keep your dates current so when people look at your material it will give them a sense of the author caring about the contents. Adding things to a great controversial article will keep your material up to date for your readers.

Comments

When a controversial subject is offered to many people, your comments will be varied. Depending on the controversy readers might even contradict each others comments left on your subject matter.You have provided the masses with stimuli to banter back and forth as each person reads what someone else stated on that material.You will learn a lot from the people that comment.

Title

Select a title that will catch the eye and if you choose a controversial label it will probably create a buzz for discussion. Be honest when you choose the title unless you mention early on that it is a joke or meant to be some humor for entertainment purposes. Unless you are honest you will lose followers.Some people are drawn to a controversial title, so be ready.

Questions

Anytime you ask questions in articles you will get different answers from many people. Your controversial subject will bring readers to your material just for the way for them to post their answer to your question. Be precise in your question and then allow all sorts of answers to be given to your controversial material. If your readers ask questions too, make sure you either post them on the site or personally email that answer to the commenter.

Final Thoughts

There might be a time you just have a different view than many of your friends. Compose a controversial subject article and see how varied the responses are on your article.

I'm not particularly a fan of being controversial - I prefer to go with the flow - but, I do agree that you'll get more readers with a controversial article. Great list!
