Now, of course you've never surfed any where on your Apple computer that would embarrass you but, if you have, you should know the top five steps to emptying the cache in Safari, the leading Apple computer web browser. But, beware: emptying your Apple computer's Safari cache is just part of the process of hiding your web travels; you'll need to delete the little cookie programs which are added to your computer for each site that you visit. Otherwise, anyone with any computer detective skills at all can still trace your travels.
The Safari icon is probably in the menu bar which, by default, is at the bottom of the screen when you first turned on your computer. If you've moved the menu bar, just look for the Safari web browser icon which looks like a little compass. Clicking that icon should launch Safari on your Apple computer.
Click the word "Safari" and you will get a drop down menu which includes the item "Empty Cache." Pretty simple, eh? Well, you're almost there.
Click the "Empty Cache" button and you'll get a dialogue box which appears that says "Are you sure you want to empty the cache?" Click "Empty" to confirm. Note, emptying the cache means that the next time you visit sites, your computer may be a little slower to launch the sites as you've just deleted the items your computer needs to know to run smoother and faster when browsing internet sites.
Now that you've emptied the cache, to really conceal what you've been up to, you'll have to get rid of your computer's cookies. Click that "Safari" word again and then click "Preferences" to start deleting your Safari cookies.
You should see a box appear with all types of icons in the menu bar at the top. Click the "Security" icon which looks like a little lock to get started viewing and deleting your computer cookies.
From where you sit now, you can either click on separate cookies and click "Remove" which removes them one at a time or, if you just want to wipe out all of your Apple computer's cookies (which may look more suspicious....), just click the "Remove all" button.
The best way to not get caught doing anything you should be on the computer is to stay out of sites that could be detrimental to your emotional health or lead to destruction in your relationship. And, I don't care how much you may protect, internet affairs ARE cheating....
