Pretend it's not your house. Pretend it's someone else's. For some reason, this can trick you into cleaning the house. Walk in the front door, and say to yourself,"Gee, if this were my house, I'd clean that kitchen. It looks terrible!" Then do it. This same trick can be used to rearrange furniture. This especially works if your house is really dirty, you just can't face doing it all, and you can barely afford to have it cleaned.
