Few Helloween songs are as widely recognized as this track off the Keeper of the Seven Keys Pt. 2. This fast paced 80's style headbanger has been covered by numerous heavy metal bands including Hammerfall, Sonata Arctica, Avalanch and others. With its popular theme of independence and freedom, it's a sure bet for a good sing-along song.
Eagle Fly Free is from the same album as "I Want Out" and quite similar in theme, though it is memorable in its own right. The band also reproduced a very special version of this track on the Unarmed compilation.
No track better displays this group's musical capabilities than Keeper of the Seven Keys, the track that inspired at least 1 and as many as 3 full albums. Speed and tempo change seamlessly from soft and slow to loud and fast and back again.
You can find this title on the Gambling with the Devil album. It belongs to their later collection of work and as such is not quite as celebrated, but Kill It surely shows that the band has not quit playing heavy metal, as it may be one of the loudest, most in your face pieces they have ever produced.
A mid-tempo piece off of The Time of the Oath CD, Power is true to its name: this is power metal at its finest. The strong vocals (both upfront and backing) are hard to forget, the guitar work is masterful and the drums are bruising and blistering - making this one of the best Helloween songs ever.
