Dark thoughts for dark days that hide behind the moonlight rays.
So can't you see
you're trapped with me
six feet beneath the water
we're all alone just you and me
you, and the dead man's daughter.
Caught you, didn't I?
all in the blink of an eye
the world is turned upside down
the king has lost his crown
and lies face down in the ground.
Oh what a shock it was to see
that you were no longer here with me
ripped from my grasp, no longer here to be.
Frost forms upon the ground
hiding the creeping crawling sound
of those who have died and freshly drowned
in the deep and darkest swirling sound.
The air is burning hot
we must move faster than a trot
to escape the ravenous hounds of hell
who have somehow broken the chains of our spell.
A collection of poems I thought on the spur of the moment. I hope you enjoy. Sweet dreams!
