Easter Sunday is a special holiday that should not be forgotten. There are so many different special things that can be done on Easter Sunday. Whatever you do, be sure to remember and celebrate what Easter is really about.
The very first thing that should be on your schedule for Easter Sunday is to go to church. Go and celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ. He is the reason why we have a second chance to live. Jesus Christ is the reason why we will be able to live with Him. Jesus forgave our sins and we need to remember to thank Him and praise Him for this. Easter Sunday is such a special holiday for us to remember as the most important Easter event.
Colored or Dyed Easter Eggs have always been a tradition for most families. Most people usually dye Easter eggs the day before Easter Sunday and then serve them for breakfast and throughout the day on Easter Sunday. Some people even crack their eggs with another person to see whose egg cracks and whose doesn't crack. This is a tradition for so many different families.
Christians think of an Easter egg as a symbol of the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Easter eggs are used as a symbol of the start of a new life. Just as a new life starts when a chick is hatched from an egg, we have been given a new life when Jesus was resurrected from the dead. This is an awesome reminder to us on Easter Sunday as we crack open and eat those Easter eggs.
An Easter Egg Hunt is done by so many people on Easter Sunday. Some people hide real eggs while most people hide either chocolate eggs or plastic eggs filled with either coins or candy. An Easter egg hunt is a very common Easter event for families with children. Easter egg hunt can be done inside or outside depending on the weather.
Spending time with family is a very common Easter event done on Easter Sunday. Some people go out to eat with family at a restaurant while others go and visit family at their family's house. Some families just stay at home and celebrate Easter Sunday at home with their family.
Easter Bunny is someone that we remember on Easter Sunday as an Easter event that is done each year. Easter Bunny usually shows up very early in the morning when everyone is still sleeping. Easter Bunny fills the Easter baskets and then hides them somewhere in the house. The kids and even the adults then search around the house to try to find their Easter basket that the Easter Bunny has hidden.
Easter Sunday is such a special holiday that involves so many wonderful memories for families. It is a time for families to remember what Easter really means to us as a Christian. What a fabulous day this is for Christians to know that we have been forgiven. It is also a time for families to spend extra time together. The kids really enjoy the excitement of trying to find their Easter basket that the Easter Bunny has hidden, they enjoy trying to find the Easter eggs that have been hidden, the colored Easter eggs that they have decorated and extra time with family.
Hope everyone has a Blessed and meaningful Easter Sunday.
