There are certain locations around the world that I dream of exploring by bike. Granted, some of these terrains aren't the easiest in the world, but the adventure and sense of pride alone would be well worth the extra exertion. Others are mostly for pleasure. To really take in a country, leisurely and peacefully. Take a look:
Of course. Who could go past Nepal. The beautiful mountain ranges and breath taking scenery. Being so far removed from the world as you personally experience it. Biking Nepal is one of my dearest dreams. This is what I'll be doing for my 40th birthday.
Having never been to South America, but having dreamed of it for many years, I'd like to do it in an adventurous way. And in Peru, preferably. I would like to take the stress out of getting from point A to point B and just enjoy a leisurely bike ride, slowly taking in the scenery.
There are so many divine bike tours around France it's near impossible to choose. How amazing would it be to take a year off and go do each of them in turn. No hurry, no fuss, pack a few essentials into a small rucksack and hit the road with your best friend or partner.
Italy is a country I would like to one day live in. And whether before that happens or after, I would love to pedal my way through Tuscany and Florence. Preferably in Spring, when everything has that fresh, energized vibe about it.
Specifically, the Jotunheimen National Park. Norway boasts some of the most beautiful scenery in the world, and I for one, plan on experiencing it for myself. By bike of course.
So thank you for taking the time to daydream a little with me. It's important to nurture your dreams so that they can grow up to be fine, upstanding realities.
thank you for bringing this list of wonderful places to explore by bike to me here.
This is a great list. I'll have to share it with my sister. She and her husband love biking. :) Thanks for sharing!
