Abs are difficult for everyone, some more than others. Fat's favorite place to linger is the core/ belly area. To slim that line from under the rips, to the lower abdominals, to the lower back...Try the following effective principals:
Get your cardio in 30-45 min. 3-5 days a week. All the exercises in the world mean nothing if there's a layer of fat over my abs. You need to burn body fat through regular aerobic exercise and interval training to see strong abs.
Execute at least 1 core exercise 5 days a week, targeting different angles of abdominals each day OR do entire core workout routine 1-2x per week (but you may experience some sore abs for the week!)
As you gain strength & endurance, vary number of sets, reps, and resistance each week you will see more ab definition. * Add reps for toning and weight for bulking/strength.
Use a balance/ stability ball to practice posture and breathing. Little movements on this ball with grant big results. These techniques really activate the core continuously.
Eat clean diet- lean proteins, whole grains, fruits, vegetables, and plenty of H20. Excess fats and sugars likes to adhere to the belly & sides.
