Hiding Spots In Your Home

Introduction:

Keeping something valuable in your home can be dangerous if you don't have a good hiding spot for it. Hiding your valuables in your dresser drawer or in a jewelry box is an obvious place.

Under Your Mattress

Hiding your valuables under your mattress is a great hiding spot. If someone ever broke into your home while you were sleeping, there is no way that they would take the chance to even go into your bedroom.

In Your Sock Storage

Labeling a plastic bin as "sock storage" and keeping socks on the top layer and hiding your valuables underneath is a great idea. If someone were to find the plastic bin they would see "sock storage" and not even bother to open it.

In the Medicine Cabinet

Hiding your valuables in an old medicine container is a great idea. If someone opens up the medicine cabinet and sees a bunch of old containers in there they won't think of ever opening one up.

In the Ceiling Panels

If you have the square ceiling panels that push up easily, then this might be the perfect hiding spot for your valuables. There are so many different panels, it will be difficult to ever find where you hid anything.

In a Pair of Jeans

If your closet is filled with clothes, no one is going to ever think that you hid anything in one of your jean pockets in the back of your closet. Just remember if you ever wear those pair, to check the pockets before taking them out.

    Good list. About the jeans idea...maybe you could have a pair of jeans you never wear, maybe a pair that's not really your style or not your size...so you know that pair is your "money jeans" but the average crook isn't going to realize it. That way you wouldn't accidentally wear them while they still have your valuables in them.

    I knew an old lady who hid money in the lining of her old coats. When I heard she died the previous day, I called the pastor to tell him to get her old coats. He was shocked and dismayed, the apartment where she was living had already disposed of her clothing.

    Perhaps people would want to hide valuables when they are taking a fabulous US Vacation?

    Enjoy the front page. Nice ideas. My neighbor walked into her bathroom to find a woman looking inside her medicine cabinet. She was looking for what was valuable to her....drugs!
