EyesLipsFace, also known as e.l.f. is a cosmetics company known for selling most of their products for just $1 each. I've been pleasantly surprised by the quality of some of the makeup I've ordered. Read on for the inside scoop on which products to check out!
On the e.l.f. website you will find over a dozen different eyeshadow quads for $1 each. These little plastic compacts each hold four eyeshadow shades and include an applicator and a tiny mirror. While the quality obviously can't compare with brands like MAC or Smashbox, these are excellent eyeshadows when you consider you are only paying a quarter each! They go on smooth, blend nicely and are really convenient to keep in your purse for emergency makeup situations.
This little concealer stick is about two and a half inches tall, but packs a big punch. I use it as an eyeshadow base and under my eyes, with the occasional dot here and there to even out complexion. It's not a good consistency for use all over your face, but great for a spot here or there. It's the perfect size to carry with you for touch-ups on a night out, and at just $1 you won't be heartbroken if you lose it. The stick is scented, which is a little odd for a concealer, but not unpleasant.
I am totally addicted to this lip gloss. It's a little thick, so you don't want to use too much, but the scent and the color payoff are great. There are ten different colors available, ranging from clear to deep berry colors and warm brown hues. I'm personally a fan of the Mauve Luxe color. Most of the colors are even SPF 15, an added bonus!
Makeup brushes are one of my guilty pleasures and I'm a little ashamed to admit how much I've spent on some in the past. A good brush can really make a difference in your eyeshadow application, and the brush that e.l.f. offers for a dollar is surprisingly good.
I love the look of liquid eyeliner, but am terrible at it. E.l.f.'s eyeliner pen is awesome! It gives you the crisp look of liquid eyeliner with the ease of drawing with a marker. It's easy to apply a thin line or build up a thick one, and it doesn't smudge. There are 5 different colors available, from classic black to fun shades like purple and blue.
E.l.f. has promotions all the time, usually for free shipping or free products with your order. I suggest trying out a variety of products on your first order (rather than several colors of one thing) to see which ones work best on you!
