sick and tired of trying to feed that bottemless pit they call teenage boys? Here is some ideas written by a teenage boy.
Lasagna tastes amazing, smells amazing and is just all around amazing. Not only that but it is also quite filling. Preparation is pretty simple, just take a stouffer's frozen lasagna and put it in the oven. Serve it with some garlic bread and your teenage boy will be overjoyed.
Who doesn't like pizza? well if they dont then they are not a teenage boy. Pizza is amazing! You could just order pizza, but if you are feeling crafty there are plenty of online pizza recipes in which you can cook it in less then 30 minutes. Cook two pizzas for the boy and he should definitely be satisfied. The nice thing about pizza is that you can change up the variety and satisfy everyones cravings by just changing up the toppings.
MMMM... Steak!!! Steak is freaking amazing and pretty easy to cook on a grill. You can marinate it overnight and add some seasoning and pow! great steak. What is even better about this is that if you prepare the marination and everything your teenage boy can cook it. Every teenage boy should know how to operate a grill.
Hamburgers are like drugs to boys, and the high amount of protein in the meat easily fills them up. Hamburgers are super easy to cook, and just like steak you can have the boy cook it on the grill. You can buy the frozen patties pretty much anywhere, but if you feel fancy you can buy hamburger meat throw some garlic salt and lawry's seasoning salt and the cook it on a grill. Add some cheese, pickles, lettuce, ketchup, mustard, ranch, barbeque sauce... whatever they can think of. The variety of toppings on hamburgers makes it easy to satisfy everyone.
Fajitas will fill up anyone and they are pretty easy to prepare. Just buy some chicken strips (or cut the chicken yourself) and maybe some steak, and marinate them in some italian dressing. Cook it on the burner and add some Lawry's seasoning salt. Then warm up some tortillas in the microwave. (Wrap them in a towel and it preserves all the moisture.) Then cook up some vegetables to throw on there with them. REd peppers, green peppers and onions are a good combo. Cook these vegetables in the leftover grease from the meat and it absorbs the flavor and helps in the caramelizing of the vegetables. Add some rice and beans, guacamole, tortilla chips, salsa, cheese, sour cream, ranch dressing for the sides, and serve with some Juice.
Good luck:)
