You might just know a risk taker or perhaps you are one yourself. Here is a list of five of the risk takers in life that you might not know.
Sky divers are risk takers and some are not actually the sky diver personality, but a person with a goal. The goal could have been to sky dive to prove to themselves they could actually do such a feat in life to build self esteem. My daughter is not a sky diver risk taker, however she did the sky dive for the purpose as I mentioned here.A sky diver personality can temporarily be a risk taker. When someone needs the adrenalin rush for other than goal seeking the risk becomes high. Jumping out of a perfectly good plane and free falling is risk taking.
Some states actually permit drinking and driving. I live in one of those.Oregon, like other United States permit some alcohol consumption while operating a motor vehicle. The alcohol level needs to be in a certain range for the ticket to be given. Unless a person has a breath-a-lyzer in the vehicle it is impossible to determine how much alcohol is going to lead to a ticket or citation or worse.Only people who think they can take the risk and drink and drive will someday hurt something or someone with their habit to drink & drive. With that combination; of drinking and driving, it is a dangerous idea and one that is risk taking for the driver and others on the road.
You might be wondering how sarcasm in a person's life can be a risk taking trait. Think for a moment how the sarcasm a person gives off the affects to others around them. It is risky to think people will think the sarcasm is always amusing and that it will just be tolerated forever. Friendships have been dissolved with sarcasm in life. Look around you and you will find a sarcastic person who is having relationship problems in work and private life too. Sarcasm is risky when it is heavily applied and without let up.Personalities have sometimes a twist of sarcasm in them, but the real risk takers of life are the ones who keep using sarcasm in their life.Look out sarcastic one, the problems will begin if they already have not started.
So many people like the challenge of climbing a mountain so they take the risks. Just recently many people were killed in a chance avalanche in France while they were climbing near Mount Blanc. I have been to Mount Blanc in France and the terrain is uncertain any time of year. The May, June and July temperatures only melt some of the snow that is seen all year round. Mountain climbers risk their lives when they tread on unsuspecting footage anytime. The mountain climbers were mostly tied together, experienced and in top shape for the mountain experience they embarked upon that took some lives as the risks were taken.
Downhill skiers are truly risk takers. Being a non downhill skier I look at the risks with these statements. Anyone who would be hauled to the top of a mountain in a seat is brave. The wind blows and the temperatures are generally below or right at freezing during the ride to the top of the mountain. There is a short time to get off the ski lift to be on the snow where the journey downward is going to happen. Everything is white with snow. Rocks and bushes are covered with snow making a risky path to say the least. A person takes off on two sticks under their feet with two poles propelling them at a high rate of speed. Many obstacles that will need to be avoided could be in that downward spiral. It is necessary to know how to stop when the bottom of the skiing venture is finished. It all spell risk in my mind.Cross country don't have as many risks, but still are risk takers.
Not a risk taker here, but I know a lot of people who are. Great list.
Great list of risk I don't into to be doing. H5
Good list...I'm especially inspired by the mountain climbers. Something about the effort, training, and preparation it takes to reach the summit of Everest--it's the highlight of a lifetime for those that choose to pursue it and not everyone who tries makes it...or even survives it.
