Frustrations on List My 5 In My Opinion

Introduction:

List my five is a great writing site, but from time to time frustrating things happen, just like it does on other writing sites. Here are a few of the frustrations I've experienced writing on List my 5.

Earnings

Writers are always hoping for earlier payouts from the sites that they write on. Most writing site have requirements to meet, before payment are due to writers. List my 5 is no different when it comes to payout time.

No Forum

List my five has lost their forum, due to reasons I'm not sure about. Writers may from time to time become frustrated when they don't know what to do about a certain question they are needing answered.

Not Enough Time to Comment

Many List my 5 writers want to comment on their fellow site member's lists, but, have too many things to do, and find it impossible to comment as much as they would like to comment.

Document Transfer

I find it frustrating when I try to copy and paste my lists from my document page. Most of the time I usually place my full list into the description part, only to have it disappear, before I could publish it. Now, I copy and paste one step at a time, and then save it until I can add the next step. I do that until all steps are finished. Step 5 just happened to me today, and I almost cried. Could someone tell me how to stop the list from disappearing.

The List Pops from a Slight Click of the Keyboard

List have been known to pop off the list area, for no apparent reason. I've had this happen to me. It happened to me today. I was done with my list, except for putting in the code. It kept saying error, so I clicked on the save it option. Then, after I saw it said the word save, I went back to edit, and try a new code. To my alarming surprise my saved list was gone. I worked hard on that specific list. I'm too tired to redo the list.

Final Thoughts

Has anyone experienced these concerns from the things I've mentioned here on this list? I'm frustrated now due to the fact all my hard work on a list just vanished after I clicked save. All my other steps saved, so at least that much of the list should have shown up in my saved draft.

I have dial up and often have trouble signing in. I do wish they would update earnings at least once a week.

The forum is greatly missed. I wonder if they would bring it back if we all promised to behave.

Thanks for pointing out frustrations Jenny. I haven't seen my frustration addressed - LM5 takes a long time to load and to get to topics. It's not my system, as only happens on LM5. Agree about forums, they are sadly missed.

I miss the forums too and sometimes I get frustrated that the earnings are only updated once or twice a month.

On ehow forums many writers learned the ropes. I think they took them down because posts were critical of owners lack of site promotion and letting the domain name expire for a few days.

I've only had a few copy and paste issues. I try to proof read after I copy and paste, but still see errors sometimes when I go back aread comments (which drives me nuts). Agree on the comment about getting the spammers under control. H5

#4 can be eliminated if you make sure the finished words are not highlighted. When the highlighted area is done,as soon as you continue, all will be lost. I learned that the hard way.You might try saving from one step to the other too. It is time consuming, but will save on your tears.

Great list. I would love to see a better way to report spammers and those that have copied and pasted someone else's work.
