The last dredges of cabin fever are still with many of us....March-ing on!
Pacing the floor keeps the blood circulating and burns a few calories when it's cold and wet and slushy outside. Lucky you if you have rooms with several doors so you can pace in circular fashion. Back and forth makes me dizzy.
Eight foot high walls, four of them, surround you with stripes resembling a jail cell. The goal was to climb up a ladder and tear it off.
Oh joy. Lots of time to cook and eat. Cabin fever escalates when sugar fills your system and sugar begets more sugar cravings which begets more you. Lots more you.
The dog also has cabin fever due to fewer walks in that cold, wet and slushy outdoors. Throwing a ball 3 feet and having Rover retrieve it sixty times equals a romp outside.
The sofa is in the middle of the room, the sofa is along the wall, the sofa covers the outlet, oops, the sofa is back in the middle....
Cabin fever is a given. Go outside, get wet, get cold. That is the cure. A hot tub of bubbles awaits or a steamy mug of sugar free cocoa. That is the reward.
