Introduction:Wedding themes seem to be the norm now days. It appears that every bride is trying to come up with a theme that is new and original or an old favorite that is suppose to be timeless and classic. Be careful when choosing your wedding theme; you will have to live with the memories for the rest of your life.
Tasteless is one way to describe this wedding theme that is gaining popularity. A cigarette-smoking minister or justice of the peace and bridesmaids in torn jeans may be economical and easy to put together, but there are hundreds of other ideas that are easy and economical that aren't tacky.
Hillbilly-themed weddings are also getting more popular. This theme is a country-themed wedding gone awry. Keep the wildflowers and cotton dresses, but the bridal party doesn't have to be chewing on straw.
Talk about "stuck in the 70s!" This wedding theme has been done to death decade ago. Unless you and your beloved met at a Star Trek convention and matching, surgically-altered Spock ears, leave this one back in the day of disco.
Mickey and Minnie Mouse are a bit too young for most couples. Start your new life together as adults. Have a Goofy grooms cake, but the "wearing of the ears" is not the way to go for couples over the age of ten.
One word describes why this is one of the worst wedding themes of all times - "overdone." It seems every other bride wants a princess-themed wedding. It is your wedding, be as original as you are as a couple.
Weddings are an extremely personal day and should be treated as such. There is no reason to go to such extremes to celebrate this glorious day. You will be living with your wedding day memories for a lifetime; make sure they are not something that you will be embarrassed to tell your children and grandchildren about.
Haha so true! Many people do need to look at these.
No, not the princess theme too!!!!
I had to laugh when I read the first one. I actually have a (distant) relative that went "all out" on a redneck wedding, complete with a chocolate mountain wedding cake with two harleys at the bottom and a little bottle of Jack Daniels as a decoration!
I can't believe people have weddings like these! Not the place for goofiness!
Everyone should read this list before they plan their wedding.
