This is not about popularity but skill as many wrestlers are getting in their fifties and sixties. Some you may find out can still contribute something while others need to leave. These are all about the five that still have the ability to wrestle as well as those who I think are still entertaining.
Looking back only a couple of years this man had a TLC match ( Tables, Ladders, and chairs) with the Miz for the WWE championship. He is not so spry as he once was but I think with a new finisher that will take care of his knees he can still be put in as a major wrestling figure.
No matter how goofy or bizarre his gimmick or angle I still find this guy incredibly entertaining as well as relevant. His matches with young world champ Robert Roode as well as with AJ Styles a couple years ago show he still has the ability to entertain.
If there is one name you need to know in Japanese wrestling it is Keiji Mutoh. A master storyteller with more then twenty five years of world wide experience. He embodies all that is Japanese wrestling and if his health allows should be wrestling for at least another five.
Despite being injured after the Nexus attack one does not have to look far as he was in a feud with Chris Jericho in 2010. In that match he was still able to skin the cat move easily and go for more then fifteen minutes at full steam. Reports say he is only at 70% due medical issues however 70% of the dragon is still much more then 100% of many guys.
Being the only one retired it would not make sens to put him on this list. Except DDP still has been keeping himself in phenomenal shape even releasing a fitness system. That and you know I'm still a fan of DDP
Ya DDP is not an active wrestler but catching up on what he has done since he has been out of wrestling i think by respect standards he deserves to be on the list and I think he still does have it. He was a personality who still is just as colorful as he was ten years ago.
