Though they can be gruesome to read, the psychology behind why killers kill is fascinating to read in Ann Rule's true crime books.
Ann Rule is probably my favorite author and Small Sacrifices was, by far, the most amazing of her books. I just reread The Stranger Beside Me which is also chilling. Amazing what some people can do to others.
I stopped reading her books a few years ago, but Small Sacrifices was riveting!
