Magic: The Gathering is a CCG (Collectible Card Game) that pits two wizards against each other with customized decks. This will cover only one color, rarity and set out of the many in the game. Which green Alpha rares are the best?
The original is still amazing, despite being reprinted time and time again. The Birds of Paradise are a 0/1 creature for a cost of G. They can tap to produce one mana of any color: meaning they not only speed up a deck, but they also count as a fixer in multicolor decks. Their versatility makes them the number 1 green Alpha rare in Magic: the Gathering.
Force of Nature is an 8/8 creature with trample for just six mana. Granted, it has a high upkeep cost and if you don't pay it, the force will turn on you. But as long as you have enough to satiate its hunger, such power for a minimal cost is all you can ask for. This green Alpha rare truly smacks face!
If you can get a bunch of lands in your hand, you will want to play Fastbond. It's a green Alpha rare enchantment that lets you drop as many forests (or whatever else you have) as you want per turn. True, it deals damage to you for each extra drop... but the speed it provides can make any Magic: the Gathering deck tough to stop.
Gaea's Liege is a creature that has power and toughness equal to the number of forests you control (if defending) or the amount your opponent controls (if attacking). Now, your opponent may not be playing with the same colors, but you can still tap the Liege to turn his lands into forests, thus pumping this big guy up and making him very tough to reckon with.
Fungusaur is a nifty Magic: the Gathering card. He's a little guy that becomes a powerhouse. He gets bigger and stronger every time he is damaged. The trick is to let him take damage, but prevent him from being destroyed outright (in which case everything will be for naught).
