Everyone has their own style on listmyfive. Some people have certain topics that they only write about while others vary. After four months on listmyfive these are only personal things that people should not do on this Internet writing website. Your list might be completely different and you could very well disagree with some points made.
Foul, disgusting or obvious going over the line of appropriate language usage should be a personal judgement. Would you really want to know about the toe jam in between the toes of anyone? That might be ok at a slumber or other setting, but the Internet listmyfive site won't be building momemtum with a list that is filled with filth or even leading language that does not enrich the Listmyfive.com Keep your language wholesome and to better a reader's experience as they arrive here to read.
When a question is asked in the forum and you do not know the answer, there is no need to say you don't know just to get your name and icon on the forum screen. Send a private message to the person asking the question and let them know you read their question in the forum, but you don't know the answer either. The person asking the question will know you go to the forums and pay attention then care enough to let the person know they are not alone not knowing something.
Ever since my account was opened, ehow has been on the lips of many. There is an old saying "Does Macy's tell Gimbles"? Those were two great stores in New York in competition with each other. Each had spies go to the other store and bring back information to the other since no one would openly say if Macy's or Gimbles was doing certain marketing strategies to enhance their business. Talk listmyfive here not ehow.
No one likes a complainer on listmyfive. If you have a legitimate stand, state it nicely to the owners of listmyfive. They have made every effort to listen in the past, it won't be changing now, so ask about your concern. Wait to hear what the owners have to say, don't complain and whine.
No one came to sign up here thinking they were going to make a gold mine in a matter of a short time. If you did, you live in La la land. Certain things have to be done with money to make listmyfive look good, continue to thrive and stand the test of time to make money. Mortgages, rent payment, utility bills and such might take more money than you will make here for a little while. Wait it out or leave is your decision. Expectations are wonderful to have, however they have to be within reality. The greater the expectations, the more the possibility of failure is since risk is a factor.
Listmyfive is new, let it grow without pouring vinegar on the seedlings. Discontentment has a way of spreading discontentment. The old saying applies "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all"! Be honest to a "T" if someone asks about listmyfive, however let it prosper without your clouds of annoyance.
Back to say great article! So true!
As a newbie here I am learning a lot from you. High5!
I like your style. Tell it like it is. Thanks for sharing, I am making mental notes now. Just as Gerrie commented I probably am guilty of mentioning eHow, but never in a bad way.
Nice list of what not to do. Bad language really goes through me. That is one thing that I can't stomach. There is so many other ways to say things besides using bad language. Nice list of 5.
Great points.
I must agree about everything you said the one about the forum annoys me the most. I hate it when someone reply's to my post without the info. that I am looking for or completely don't seem to understand the question. Great LM5 educate!

Great article my friend! Spoken well and wise as jseven has said. I don't "think" I'm guilty of any of these. Hm...unless it counts when I have mentioned in the comments section that I found someone's ehow article duruing my research time. Perhaps I'll just not mention ehow anymore...to make sure I do not do something to upset the fine folks at listmy five! Uh oh - I see myself in #4 and 5. I've decided to stick around but, as the owners said, have fun with it instead of going all out. Good list.
good points! If I compared eHow and List My Five, I'd have to give LM5 thumbs up for being so open and receptive to suggestions from the writers.
I love seeing the pennies add up from the lists and hope someday to make payout.
You have spoken well and wise. I was guilty of comparing eHow and LM5 and there are good similarities, but LM5 is not eHow and I am supporting this great site, as always. High 5 for telling the truth to keep us all in line.

High 5. Thank you for being the voice of wisdom. What I dislike is getting inquiries from people I do not know asking me how much money I am making here. That is just plain rude. I am more open to tell you how old I am. (sorry, just had to say that)
