Reasons to Watch the Voice

Introduction:

This is the second season for The Voice. I didn't watch The Voice very much last year. I am really enjoying it this year. I look forward to Monday nights so that I can watch it. It is different than American Idol but is just as good.

Music

I love listening to the music that is performed on The Voice. There is a variety of different types of music which is quite entertaining and wonderful to listen to.

The Teams

The Voice is different than American Idol. There are teams or coaches on The Voice. The teams consist of Team Blake, Team Adam, Team Cee Lo and Team Christina. These coaches are awesome artists. Their names are Blake Shelton, Adam Levine, Cee Lo Green and Christina Aguilera. My favorite is Blake Shelton, but that is because I'm a country music fan.

The coaches first have their chairs turned backwards so that they are listening to the voices rather than watching them. If the coaches like the particular voice that they are listening to, they push the like button and then turn their chairs around. If they are the only one that pushed the like button, than they are the ones to coach that particular person that they liked. If there are more than one coach that pushes the like button, then the contestant chooses who they want to coach them.

Each coach starts off with twelve contestants who they will be coaching. This is where the teams come in. The coach of each team works with each of the artists to help them improve their vocals. Each team starts with twelve contestants and eventually eliminates the artists on their team down to six artists. This is where the six remaining artists on each team moves on to the live rounds.

These four coaches are fun to watch and listen to. They get along so well with each other and are very entertaining with their comments. These four coaches actually look like they are having fun and enjoy what they are doing. These team coaches are awesome artists their selves and are great in helping out their contestants in pursuing a possible career as a musical artist.

Talented Artists

The artists that have been chosen by Blake Shelton, Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green and Adam Levine are talented artists. They all have an excellent voice. These four coaches did a great job on choosing these talented artists. I am looking forward to seeing how much they improve over time and become even more talented artists.

Around the Country

The contestants are from all over the country. These contestants have come together to sing in the same place and compete against each other to see who moves on to the next level.

Vote

America is able to vote on the artists in the live rounds to see which artist moves on. Not only are we able to watch all the talented artists but we are able to participate and vote on which talented artist we like the best.




Final Thoughts

The Voice is an awesome show to watch on Monday nights. I thoroughly enjoy watching and listening to the talent and the music. These contestants that have been chosen by their coaches have an incredible voice.

Looking at The Voice website, I noticed that the celebrity advisor's that were chosen to help the coaches are some awesome artists too and are very well known. The celebrity advisors include Miranda Lambert, Lionel Richie, Alanis Morissette, Kelly Clarkson, Jewel, Kenny Edmonds (better known as Babyface) and Ne-Yo or Robin Thicke. What a nice variety of advisors to help the coaches out. I can't wait to see what happens next week on The Voice.
