Introduction:

At the time of Dante Alighieri, when it came to middle age, there were about 25 years.
Same Dante, Inferno, the first part of his Great Work: The Divine Comedy, written more or less at age 25 wrote:
        Nel mezzo del camin di nostra vita
        mi ritrovai per una selva. Oscura
        che la diritta via era smarrita.
 In the middle of the chimney of our lives \\ I found myself in a dark wood \\ the straight way was lost.

Then Over

the years and for a better lifestyle, for a society steeped in the pursuit of human well-being, life is extended and it has gone to an average life of around 80/90 years.
Today, 2011, we have an increase in people of a certain age growing. The life of a human being comes increasingly to be over 100.
So, 50, 60, do not feel older, but still in the midst of energies.
There are many people in this age begin a new life, undertake new studies, a new job with great success.
We can speak of a fourth between the ages of 75 / 80 and up.

Of Course

the idea of living longer can entice many people!
After all, as always, and history teaches us, man has always tried to find the formula that made him almost immortal
But we know that all things have a price!
There's always the flip side!

While the man may live longer because his physical, and for the lifestyle (always looking for natural products and non-chemical) for greater premium on aging more slowly; the other, must be compared with the company. with what society can offer and what it receives.

We See That

today is primarily a problem of an economic nature.
The people of a certain age find themselves having to live with a miserable pension, which hardly helps to make up for the meet essential requirements.
It is not possible to think that 500 euro per month you can pay the bills for water, electricity and gas, pay rent if you do not have a home (and in the city is almost impossible) to pay for medical visits after all life has paid a health fee, buy the clothes (at least necessary) to buy food (3.50 ? per kg apples, just as an example.
This is a point where all the government talk, but no one remedy, but why should they lower their monthly salary of "only" 40.000,00 euro per month!
ABSURD!

Another Absurdity

is that increasing the average age of the person, it was thought that a worker to retire at 60 years, he would be very depressing ...
It has increased the retirement age to 65 years and older. And the kids are in jeopardy.

Then there is the factor to bind the elderly now!
Do not make them feel useless!
Many often find themselves spending the day monotone (get out of bed, watch TV, eat, take a cocktail of drugs, sleep).
There were so many things I could do (Keep the public gardens in order, to babysitting, organizing parties in memory ,...).

But For some Reason

we are all convinced that when they reach a certain age are no longer in a position to discernment.

              ARE WE SMARTER?

Yet it takes so little to make life easier, better and prosperous for all!

Just start thinking not only to themselves but to the welfare of all.
