When we drink more water, it is beneficial for our health. Water makes up 55 to 75 percent of our bodies. All of the nutrients that we eat are carried in it. Many of us neglect to drink enough of it. If we do not have the appropriate water-levels, serious health problems can result. Some of the symptoms are headaches, bad circulation, constipation and kidney stones. It is recommended that we drink 6 to 8 glasses of water a day.
Always drink more water before any physical activity and keep drinking every 30 minutes while doing it. Keep a water bottle with you while walking, hiking, biking and cleaning the house or working in the yard. Any exercise can be dehydrating. Water helps the body to stay cool and it prevents fatigue. Physical performance is also improved.
When you first get up in the morning, have a big glass of water. Keep drinking during the day and before going to bed. If you work, keep a bottle at your desk. Drink more water throughout the day and have some available on the bed stand at night. Respiration during sleep can dry you out.
