Whether your in grade school or college, it's the time of year when everyone is starting to get pretty stressed about the fact that finals are right around the corner. Therefore I have written a list of the top 5 tips that have helped me with all my tests that I have ever done well on.
Trust me, I know this one is more difficult than it sounds, but its completely true. Do not wait to study for your exams until the night before. start at least a week before and study everything slowly and in parts, instead of cramming everything all at once.
It's amazing how much notes can help on an exam. If the teacher says something is important or keeps repeating it, it's probably in your best interest to write it down. Also, practice out-of-class note writing; read the text, and write your own notes that you think will be important.
Having a Study partner can really help when preparing for an exam. You can test each other and find out which areas in particular you need to study more. Plus the positive studying reinforcement always helps as well. Knowing someone else is determined to study may help you stay motivated.
Alright so it sounds completely Elementary school right? Wrong. Flash cards have been proven to help improve test grades to those who use them frequently.
It's important to get a full nights sleep the night before your final. You need to be as rested as possible so that your can focus on your exam.
