Ingredients:
1 (10-ounce) package frozen raspberries
3 to 4 (12-ounce) bottles red wine vinegar
Microwave raspberries in large glass bowl 2 to 3 minutes on HIGH. Drain off excess liquid. Rinse berries well. Place berries and vinegar back in bowl. Let stand overnight. Microwave vinegar mixture uncovered on HIGH 6 to 12 minutes so that it boils about 3 minutes. Strain vinegar, discard solids. Pour vinegar back in clean vinegar bottles. Label and store in dark place. Age 2 to 4 weeks before using. It improves with age.
Ingredients:
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup vinegar
1 cup oil
1 teaspoon celery seeds
1 teaspoon paprika
3/4 teaspoon salt
Combine sugar and vinegar in 4 cup glass measuring cup. Microwave 2 to 3 minutes on HIGH until mixture begins to boil. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Chill.
This salad dressing is tasty on Green Salads!
Ingredients:
1/4 cup raspberry vinegar
1/2 cup olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
Mix in bottle and shake well before serving, and enjoy.
Ingredients:
4 slices bacon
1 egg, well beaten
1/2 cup sour cream
1/4 cup cider vinegar
2 tablespoons sugar
3 green onions, thinly sliced
Cook bacon on HIGH in microwave 3 to 5 minutes or until crisp. Drain bacon and crumble. Cool bacon drippings. In a small dish, beat the egg and add the sour cream, vinegar, sugar and onion. Stir the mixture into the cool bacon drippings. Microwave 3 to 4 minutes on 70% power or until thickened, stirring every minute. Add bacon and serve.
Ingredients:
1 pound fresh asparagus
2 onions sliced in rings
1/2 pound fresh mushrooms, sliced
ITALIAN DRESSING:
1/3 cup cider vinegar
1 tablespoon sugar
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 teaspoon garlic salt
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
1/2 teaspoon oregano
1/4 teaspoon basil
1 cup vegetable oil
Freshly ground black pepper
Place vinegar in 2-cup measuring cup and microwave on HIGH for 30 seconds or until vinegar is hot. Add sugar, lemon juice and spices and stir. Add oil and blend well. Cook asparagus in tightly covered dish. Microwave on HIGH 2-3 minutes. Drain and cool. Add onions and mushrooms to asparagus and cover with Italian Dressing.
