If you are just new to the world of online money making and looking for websites that offer you an income, I suggest these top five spots to start.
The site you are currently reading is an excellent place for beginners to start because it is simple to use and publishes immediately. It is very easy to use and understand.
The downfalls of this site are a very low payout, and the fact that it only accepts lists means there is no room for other creative works, such as poetry, or factual articles that are more in depth than a top five list.
Wikinut is another good place for beginners to earn money from the Internet.
Wikinut accepts poetry, creative articles, lists, as well as factual articles. Of course it should be noted that on any site the factual articles tend to get more views and therefore will pay more.
The biggest advantage of Wikinut is that they have real people as moderators, who often give feedback to the writers on how to improve in the form of messages that accompany the publication notices.
The online editor at Wikinut is simple to use, and they do allow pictures.
The main disadvantage of Wikinut is they have a low payout, although not quite as low as listmyfive.
Triond is quite easy to get started on but people sometimes have problems getting their articles accepted especially if they have already published the same information on another site. The online editor is still easy to use but a bit more complicated than the Wikinut system.
The biggest advantage is that Triond pays fairly well and they have a forum where you can talk to other members and hopefully get help.
Triond has some excellent writers as well as some very poor ones who have unfortunately spammed the sites to death making promoting your triond articles a bit tougher but overall a well written article will still make you money.
Note with Triond you can republish your Triond article onto sites such as Wikinut, but only after it is on Triond.
I do not use this site myself but my wife does and notes that the biggest advantage is that they pay you a small chunk of money as soon as your article is published once you reach a certain level as a writer. Factoidz has some pitfalls in that they are super fussy and new writers who are not good may have a harder time getting started on this site.
Factoidz does not take poetry, creative writing, or anything other than factual articles, but their pay out is fairly decent.
This is a totally different type of website for making money. On webanswers you get an account and after answering 10 questions you can apply for Google Adsense, or link to your current Adsense account. This is a fun and addictive site.
On webanswers you can get paid to ask questions, or answer them. Payment is highest on questions you have answered and received the best answer award for.
Your success is dependent on how active you are, how good your answers are (they must be original, not copied and pasted) and you can boost your earnings by promoting views on the questions you have received best answer for.
The biggest disadvantage to this site is that there may not be a lot of questions for your type of knowledge, or that you simply have too much fun on this site and get nothing else done. Webanswers is well suited to the person who does not have time to compose and upload entire articles, but simply wishes to have fun and make money online.
If you are new to online writing, I suggest you do what most people do, join 2-3 sites and find which ones you like best.
