Sometimes, you may get going so fast, it's easy to forget these simple ways to take care of yourself. Take a minute and read this list. You need 7 to 9 hours of sleep per night to function well. Plan ahead to get your 8 hours. Make it a priority, because if you don't get enough restorative, deep sleep, you can't think straight. Prevent accidents, think clearly, and feel better overall by getting the sleep you need. Sleep also helps your skin look better, and prevents extra bagginess under your eyes.
Buy foods you really like that are also healthful. Include the best organic fruits and vegetables, lean proteins, and whole grains, along with fish and olive oil.
Take a stroll as often as you can. Invite a friend or loved one. Stop and smell the roses along the way. I know it's become a cliche, but do it anyway! If you follow a route in a park or nice neighborhood, you will enjoy it a lot, and feel refreshed afterwards.
When was the last time you had a friend over to your house to hang out? Invite someone to tea, or to play a game, or to work together on an interesting project. To have a friend, be a friend. Avoid spending time with people who make you crazy, and spend time with positive people.
Even extroverts need time alone sometimes. This can be time spent in the bathtub, reading, walking alone (in a safe place), listening to music, or in prayer.
